Another Red Fever Review

Posted on 22/03/2011 in Caroline Clough Red Fever Reviews

Another wonderful review for our latest Kelpies Prize winner – Red Fever – from a real young reader!

‘I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love how the author has made lots of problems for the characters to solve, instead of just one. This book is about Toby who is trying to find a cure for Sylvie, his sister, who they think, has the deadly virus, Red Fever. Red fever has killed off most of the people on earth, leaving few survivors. As Sylvie gets worse, the problems get more challenging, like battling stray dogs and escaping pirates. Can Toby and his dad cure Sylvie before it’s too late?

This book is great for children from 9+ who love adventure stories. I definitely think Caroline Clough should write more children’s books, maybe even some more about Toby.’
