Rocking Horse War Tour
Phew! Lari Don and I are just back from a whirlwind tour of Perth and Kinross schools. We visited over 500 pupils from eight different schools in three days and had a blast! All the children that we met were full of enthusiasm and creative ideas.
At times it wasn’t easy. We might have gotten lost once or twice (Google maps told us to go to the wrong school!), we battled with drummers and were held up by horrible weather. But it was worth it! Together Lari and the children created death-defying cliff hangers and dangerous journeys and I loved hearing their ideas for who should go on a quest (a man made out of spaghetti – brilliant!). Most importantly we got to share Rocking Horse War with loads of children.
A big thank you to the teachers and pupils of Crieff Primary, Fossoway Primary, Cleish Primary, Auchtergaven Primary (sorry we pronounced it wrong), Abernethy Primary, St Stephen’s and Newhill Primary in Blairgowrie and, last but not least, Meigle Primary!
Maybe you’ll let us come back another time.
