The Learning Resource Pack has been created by author Lindsay Littleson (who was a primary school teacher for many years), and includes:

  • Writer’s craft
  • Talking and Listening activities
  • Creative writing projects
  • Cross-curricular links (including art, social studies, modern languages , science, rights education)
  • Photocopiable activities for the classroom or library

The pack brings together a variety of activities to help pupils with a range of literacy goals. Activities are designed to support comprehension, vocabulary and critical analysis. If needed, you can adapt them for Support, Core or Extension levels.

With this pack, your pupils can:

  • Explore the world and words of Guardians of the Wild Unicorns
  • Get to know characters including Rhona, Lewis, and the unicorns themselves
  • Draw characters, maps and comic strips based on descriptive clues
